1 Connect a USB port on the PC to the console port of the board in slot 4 of NIP6830.

2 Configure the PC.
Download from the Internet a free HyperTerminal program, such as PuTTY, which is used as an example to describe the
HyperTerminal configuration.

Double-click the PuTTY program and click Session in the navigation tree on the left and select Serial for Connection type.

Click Serial in the navigation tree on the left and configure the serial connection parameters. Set Serial line to connect to
according to the model of your PC.

Click Open to access the CLI.
3 Click Enter on your PC and enter the user name (admin) and password (Admin@123) to access the configuration view.
