Attaching transmission elements
NOTICE
Do not subject the motor's shaft and bearings to impact. Do not exceed the permissible
axial and radial forces at the shaft extension, as defined in the configuration specifications.
Axial forces are not permitted for motors with an integrated holding brake.
Suitable equipment (see figure) must be used when fitting and removing transmission
elements (e.g. coupling, gear wheel, belt pulley).
● Use a threaded hole in the shaft extension.
● If necessary, heat up the transmission elements.
● When removing transmission elements, use an intermediate disk or washer to protect the
