10.2 Vacuum-packing
vacuum bags with a
valve
1. Place the prepared food into the vacu-
um bag. Ensure that there is no food un-
der the valve.
2. Carefully close the vacuum bag.
3. Place the vacuum bag flat on a level
surface with the valve pointing up-
wards.
4. Proceed as for vacuum containers, start-
ing at step 2. (see "Vacuum-packing
vacuum containers" on page 32), and
use adapter A 21.
NOTE: suitable vacuum bags with valves
can be ordered from the online shop under
article number 306376 (see "Ordering film
bags and accessories" on page 36).
11. Using additional
functions
11.1 Activating the Wet
function
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock due to moisture!
For vacuum-packing, no liquids must be
inside the bag.
Ensure that no liquid is sucked in during
the extraction of air. If this occurs, inter-
rupt the process immediately by press-
ing the stop button
If the bag contains moist food (e.g. marinad-
ed meat/fish, ready-to-use cut vegetables/
fruit), this can result in incomplete seals. By

tion of the sealing process is increased, in
order to achieve a better welding seam.
Press the
 7 button before vacuum-
packing/sealing to activate the func-
tion. The LED is lit.
To deactivate the function, press the but-
ton
 7 again.
If you press the stop button
Wet function
When the vacuum-packing/sealing pro-
cess is completed or has been can-
celled, the LED goes out and the
function is automatically deactivated.
During the vacuum-packing/sealing
process, the Wet function
ther be activated nor deactivated.
NOTE: this function is not suitable for vacu-
um-packing liquids, e.g. soup. These need
to be frozen before vacuum-packing.
11.2 Activating the Soft
function
The Soft function
pressure slightly, so that pressure-sensitive
food (e.g. berries or cake) is not com-
pressed.
Press the
 2 button before vacuum-
packing/sealing to activate the func-
tion. The LED is lit.
To deactivate the function, press the
 2 button again.
If you press the stop button
Soft function
When the vacuum-packing/sealing pro-
cess is completed or has been can-
celled, the LED goes out and the
function is automatically deactivated.
During the vacuum-packing/sealing
