1. Safety Instructions
IMPORTANT: To prevent electric shock, fire and/or personal injury or
damage, read this user's manual first and observe the following safety
instructions.

1.1. Work Area Safety

Always perform automotive testing in a safe environment.
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Cluttered benches and dark areas
may cause accidents.
Keep clothing, hair, hands, tools, test equipment, etc. away from all moving
or hot engine parts.
Operate the scope in a well-ventilated work area.
Do not operate the scope in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence
of fl ammable liquids, gases, or heavy dust.
Keep a fire extinguisher suitable for gasoline/chemical/electrical fires
nearby.
Do not use the scope around corrosive chemicals which can ruin the photo
quality.
Keep bystanders, children and visitors away while operating the tool.
Keep the scope dry, clean, free from oil, water and grease. Use a mild
detergent on a clean cloth to clean the outside of the scope when necessary.

the following electrical instructions:
You must ensure the risk of electric shock is minimised by the installation of
appropriate safety devices.
An RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker) should be incorporated in
the main distribution board. We also recommend that an RCD (Residual
Current Device) is used with all electrical products, particularly portable
equipment which is plugged into an electrical supply not protected by an
RCCB.
You must also read and understand the following instructions concerning

electrical safety.

1.2.1.The Electricity At Work Act 1989 requires all portable electrical appliances,
if used on business premises, to be tested by a qualified
