5.2 Web user interface
Note
The web user interface must only be used in compliance with Security features (Page 38).
7KN Powercenter 3000 provides web user interfaces for following display options:
• on a PC
• on a tablet
• on a smartphone, either:
– Android based
– Apple iOS based
The web user interface is based on HTML5 and can therefore be used with many modern
browsers.
These include:
• Google Chrome (latest versions for PC, Android and Apple devices)
• Safari (latest version for Apple devices)
• Mozilla Firefox (latest version for PCs)
The web user interface can be used both on the internal and on the external Ethernet
interface (see Internal Ethernet interface (Page 35) and External Ethernet interface
(Page 37)).
In the simplest case, the browser is opened via the powerconfig view "Open web browser".
Another option is to enter the valid IP address at the Ethernet interface or the current host
name, directly in the address line of the browser.
Note
Default settings
The web interface default is deactivated at the internal interface (X1P2). The IP address
192.168.1.2 or the default host name "powercenter3000" can be written directly into the
address line. The web user interface must first be activated at the external interface (X1P1)
(see Settings → General → External communication) and write protection of the web user
interface must be deactivated.
