Removal and replacement | Hägglunds CA Radial piston hydraulic motor
Removing the CA coupling motor
1. Secure the motor to a lifting device, see chapter 6.1.
2. Remove the end cover (1) together with screws and washers.
3. Dismount the plug G1˝(2).
4. Remove the bearing retainer (3).
5. Install the assembly tool with the nut according to Fig. 59. Screw it into the
driven shaft by using a wrench at the key grip at the end of the assembly tool.
6. Remount the bearing retainer (3) to the motor.
7. Disconnect the torque arm from the articulated connection.
8. Untighten the screws on the shrink disc gradually, approximately a quarter turn
each. Keep doing this until all screws are loosened.
9. Pull the motor off the shaft by turning the nut on the assembly tool.
