Make sure that the mounting surface is smooth, level,
undamaged, clean, free of grease and solvents, and not
too cool, to ensure that the adhesive tape sticks in the long
term.
Mounting with screws
Mounting the device with screws will damage the door or
window. The manufacturer assumes no liability for improper
or incorrect assembly or any damages resulting from
drilling.
Do not assemble the magnetic contact prior to mounting the
device with screws.
To mount the window and door contact using the screws, proceed as
follows:
To avoid mis-drilled holes in door or window frames, no
hole spacing is specified at this point. The safer method is to
hold the parts to be fixed in the selected positions and then
mark the drill holes, as described below.

Pre-drill the screw holes in the bracket (A) using a suitable drill.

Mark the screw holes for the electronic unit (B) with the bracket
(A) on the window (see Figure 6).
