unless it is necessary to replace a motor or
a power cord.
12. Cut the brown (H) and blue (I) cables from the soft
start unit.
13. Pull out the brown (H) and blue (I) cables of the soft
start unit from behind the motor.
14. Cut the black cable that goes from the soft start unit
to the motors.
15. Use a flat screwdriver and a hammer or use a drill to
remove the soft start unit from the frame.
8.5.4 To install the soft start unit and the electronic
filter (S 26)
1. Install a new soft start unit to the frame. Use a rivet
or a screw and nut to attach the soft start unit.
2. Connect the butt splice terminal to the black cable
from the soft start unit and the black cable from the
motors.

3. Pull the cables behind the right motor to the
electronic filter.
4. Connect the blue cable to a female connector.
5. Connect the blue cable to a piggyback terminal.
6. Connect the black motor cables to the piggyback
terminal.
7. Attach the electronic filter to the motor housing.
8. Connect all the cables to the electronic filter and the
ON/OFF switch. Refer to the electrical diagram.
9. Put the cables together with a cable strip. Make sure
that the cable for the ON/OFF switch has sufficient
length for future replacements.
10. Assemble the product in the opposite sequence to
how it was disassembled. Refer to
soft start unit and the electronic filter (S 26) on page
21 .
Note: When you install the gaskets, make sure that
the gasket curve is down and on the external side of
the hole.
