Other faults

K.1.4.1 Water problems of the coffee unit
Doses below the programmed doses
The 3-way solenoid valve of the group is leaking
during decompression during the infusion. Check
the condition of the check valves.
K.1.4.2 Dripping outside the infusion periods
The water flows by the group or the decompression tube outside the infusion periods.
The 3-way solenoid valve opens under the effect of
the expansion pressure, which is set too high (>13
bar [1.3 MPa])
Adjust the high pressure valve opening at 13 bar [1.3
MPa].
The pump pressure must be set at 10 bar [1 MPa].
K.1.4.3 Infusion pressure too low
The pump is faulty:
• filter clogged
• capacitor-winding
• damaged pallets
• broken coupling
• defective by-pass

The doses obtained are lower than the programmed doses
The leak is located after the volumetric doser
Redo the programming of the doses.
The pressure of the infusion is less than 10 bar [1 MPa]
Adjust the pump as shown at chapter "checks & adjustments"
If attempts at adjustment remaining in vain
