Appendix 6
Exposure time indicates the time for acquiring an image. The longer the exposure time, the brighter the image becomes.
However, if a target code moves (including vibration), the image blur is likely to be occurred. Additionally, the exposure time is
added to the reading time; therefore, the whole processing time is prolonged.
The maximum exposure time of this code reader is '200,000 s (200 ms).' When executing tuning with the initial setting for a
CF26 Series type using a polarized filter ('LR' at the end of the type name), note that the maximum value may be set for the
exposure time.
It is important to execute tuning after optimizing the maximum exposure time.
Restricting the maximum exposure time
 Click [Application Details] of [Application Steps].
Enter a value of "Maximum Exposure (s)."
* Setting too small value may cause to fail tuning.
Setting exposure time adapted to the moving speed of a work
 Set "In-Motion" for [Application Type] of [Application Steps].
Click [Application Details] and click [Exposure Assistant].
