4. air supply
4.1.
Recommended hook-up procedure is shown in fig.1.
4.1.1.
Ensure air saw trigger is in "off" position before connecting to the air supply.
4.1.2.
You will require an air pressure of 90psi, and an air flow according to specification.
warning! ensure the air supply is clean and does not exceed 90psi while operating the tool. Too high an air pressure and unclean air

will shorten the product life due to excessive wear, and may be dangerous causing damage and/or personal injury.
4.1.3.
drain the air tank daily. Water in the air line will damage the tool.
4.1.4.
Clean air inlet filter weekly.
4.1.5.
line pressure should be increased to compensate for unusually long air hoses (over 8 metres).
4.1.6.
The minimum hose diameter should be 1/4" I.d. and fittings must have the same internal dimensions.
4.1.7.
Keep hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Check hose for wear, and make certain that all connections are secure.
4.2.
couplings
4.2.1.
Vibration may cause failure if a quick change coupling is connected directly to the tool.
4.2.2.
To overcome this, connect a leader hose to the tool. A quick change coupling may then be used to connect the leader hose to the air
line recoil hose (fig.2). Available from your Sealey dealer (Model No. - AH2R)

5. operation
5.1.
BLADE GUARD ADJUSTMENT (fig.3)
5.1.1.
Using the hexagonal key supplied, loosen the fastening on the top of the tool (fig.3). Slide the guard to the required position and
fully retighten the fastening.
5.2.
BLADE MOUNTING (fig.4)
5.2.1.
Using the hexagonal key supplied, loosen blade fastening (fig.4). Slide the blade fully into the tool body and fix in place by fully
tightening the fastening. note: ensure that the blade teeth are in the required orientation within the tool and that the blade is correct
for the task.
5.3.
EXHAUST DIRECTION (fig.5)
5.3.1.
To direct exhaust air, rotate the collar such that the holes are facing the required direction.
5.4.
speed control (fig.6)
5.4.1.
Speed control of the cutting blade is achieved by use of the trigger mechanism.
5.5.
ensure that your workpiece is properly secured and, if necessary, marked out.
5.6.
Start the saw by pushing the safety catch forward (fig.6), then pushing the trigger (fig.6) down.
do not attempt to start the saw with the stationary blade in contact with the workpiece. Start the saw and bring the moving blade onto

the workpiece.
5.7.
If the cut ends within the sheet material, allow the blade to come to a stop before removing the saw from the workpiece.
5.8.
If the cut starts within the bounds of the material, cut a starter slot by hand.
do not allow the saw to run without load for any length of time as this will cause it damage.
