Problem
The appliance has a lower
suction power than usual.
Dust escapes from the
appliance.
The appliance does not
move smoothly across the
floor when cleaning a
carpet.
The roller brush does not
turn anymore.
Possible cause
The filter is dirty or one or
both dust containers are full.
You have not attached the
dust container lids properly
to the dust containers on the
handheld and the nozzle.
You have not attached the
dust containers to the
handheld and the nozzle
properly.
An object may be stuck
inside the nozzle or tube.
The filter is dirty.
The filter is not present in the
appliance.
The dust container is not
present in the nozzle or the
handheld.
If dust escapes from a dust
container, the dust container
lid is probably not attached
properly to the dust
container.
You selected a too high
suction power.
The roller brush is blocked by
hair or dirt.
The roller brush may stop
turning when it encounters
too much resistance from
high-pile carpet.
Solution
Remove the dust container from the
handheld. Clean the filter parts by
tapping them against the side of a
dustbin. Wash the foam part of the filter
(Fig. 2) if it is dirty. Remove the dust
container from the nozzle and empty it.
Make sure that you clean the paper part
of the filter (Fig. 3) and wash the foam
part of the filter (Fig. 2) at least once a
week if you use the appliance regularly.
Make sure that you attach the dust
container lids to the dust containers and
the dust containers to the handheld and
the nozzle.
Check the nozzle and tube for blockages
and remove them.
Clean the filter.
Make sure that the filter is in the
appliance and assembled correctly (Fig.
8).
Insert the dust container into the nozzle
or the handheld properly.
Empty the dust container and attach the
dust container lid correctly.
Reduce the suction power to setting I.
Clean the roller brush with the blade of
the cleaning brush tool or by hand.
Switch off the appliance and then switch
it back on again.
