10� Operation
All operating modes are shown on the device
display (3). Operate the device as described in the
following sections�

Setting Manual Mode

When Manual mode is set, you can set a fixed tem-
perature which is then maintained by the device.
The adjustment range available is between 5.0 °C
and 29.5 °C. The temperature can be adjusted in
steps of 0.5 °C.
1� Press the Menu button (10 a) until
appears in the display (3).
2� Use the Setting wheel (5) to set the required
temperature.

Setting Automatic Mode

When Automatic mode is set, the device regulates
the temperature between two temperatures accord-
ing to the time programme set (refer to Setting the
Heating and Energy-Save Times and Heating and
Energy-Save Temperatures on Page 79).
If Automatic mode is active and you adjust the tem-
perature using the Setting wheel (5), the tempera-
