After installing the M.2 drive and M.2 backplane:
1. For server models with twelve 3.5-inch hot-swap drives, if you are installing the 480 GB M.2 drive, install
the M.2 drive air baffle for proper airflow.

2. If you have removed the riser assembly next to the M.2 backplane, reinstall it. See "Install a riser card"
on page 107.
3. Complete the parts replacement. See "Complete the parts replacement" on page 164.
4. Use the Lenovo XClarity Provisioning Manager to configure the RAID. For more information, see:
