your finger, w ood and the like around it; otherw ise,
the cord m ay com e off and the laser m arker m ay not
be lit up.
Check and make sure on a periodic basis if the position
of the laser line is in order. As regards the checking
m ethod, draw a right-angle ink line on the w orkpiece
w ith the height of about 38 m m and the w idth of 89
m m , and check that the laser line is in line w ith the
ink line [The deviation betw een the ink line and the
laser line should be less than the ink line w idth (0.5
m m )] (Fig. 13).

9. Cutting operation
(1) As show n in Fig. 14 the w idth of the saw blade is the

If a laser m arker is used, align the laser line w ith the
left side of the saw blade, and then align the ink line
w ith the laser line.
(2) Once the saw blade reaches m axim um speed, slow ly
push dow n the handle and bring the saw blade in the
vicinity of the m aterial to be cut.
(3) Once the saw blade contacts the w orkpiece, push the
handle dow n gradually to cut into the w orkpiece.

Increased pressure on the handle w ill not increase the
cutting speed. On the contrary, too m uch pressure
m ay result in overload of the m otor and/or decreased
cutting efficiency.
Confirm that the trigger sw itch is turned OFF and the
pow er plug has been rem oved from the receptacle
w henever the tool is not in use.
Alw ays turn the pow er off and let the saw blade stop

is still rotating, the cut-off piece m ay becom e jam m ed
against the saw blade causing fragm ents to scatter
about dangerously.
Every tim e one cutting of deep-cutting operation is
finished, turn the sw itch off, and check that the saw
blade has stopped. Then raise the handle, and return
it to the full retract position.
Be absolutely sure to rem ove the cut m aterial from
the top of the turntable, and then proceed to the next
step.
10. M iter cutting procedures
(1) Loosen the side handle and push the lever for angle
stoppers. Then, adjust the turntable until the indicator
aligns w ith desired setting on the m iter scale (Fig. 15).

Check that the m iter scale and the tip of the indicator
are properly aligned.
Operation of the saw with the miter scale and indicator
out of alignm ent, or w ith the side handle not properly
tightened, w ill result in poor cutting precision.
CAUTION
Never rem ove the side handle; use of the tool w ithout
it w ould be hazardous.
To prevent an accident or personal injury always firmly
tighten the m iter handle.
11. Bevel cutting procedures (Fig. 16)
