WARNING
When the w orkpiece is secured on the left or right
side of the blade, the short cut-off portion w ill com e
to rest on the right or left side of the saw blade. Alw ays

w orkpiece.
If the handle is raised w hile the saw blade is still
rotating, the cut-off piece m ay becom e jam m ed
against the saw blade causing fragm ents to scatter
about dangerously.
When stopping the bevel cutting operation halfw ay,
start cutting after pulling back the m otor head to the
initial position.
Starting from halfw ay, w ithout pulling back, causes
the safety cover to be caught in the cutting groove of
the w orkpiece and to contact the saw blade.
12. Compound cutting procedures
Com pound cutting can be perform ed by follow ing the
i n st r u ct i o n s i n 9 an d 10 ab o v e. Fo r m ax i m u m
d i m en si o n s f o r co m p o u n d cu t t i n g , r ef er t o
" SPECIFICATIONS" table.
CAUTION
Alw ays secure the w orkpiece w ith the right hand side
for com pound cutting. Never rotate the table to the
right for com pound cutting, because the saw blade
m ight then contact the clam p or vise that secures the
w orkpiece, and cause personal injury or dam age.
13. Installing the holders (Optional accessory)
The holders help keep longer w orkpieces stable and
in place during the cutting operation.
(1) As indicated in Fig. 17, use a steel square for aligning
the upper edge of the holders w ith the base surface.
Loosen the 6 m m w ing nut. Turn a height adjustm ent
bolt 6 m m , and adjust the height of the holder.

(2) After adjustm ent, firm ly tighten the w ing nut and
fasten the holder w ith the 6 m m knob bolt (optional
accessory). If the length of Height Adjustm ent Bolt 6
m m is insufficient, spread a thin plate beneath. M ake
sure the end of Height Adjustm ent Bolt 6 m m does
not protrude from the holder.
14. Stopper for precision cutting (Stopper and holder are
optional accessory)
The stopper facilitates continuous precision cutting
in lengths of 280 m m to 450 m m .
To install the stopper, attach it to the holder w ith the
6 m m w ing bolt as show n in Fig. 18.

15. Confirmation for use Crow n molding vise, Crow n
molding Stopper (L) and (R) (Optional accessory)
(1) Cr o w n m o l d i n g St o p p er (L) an d (R) (o p t i o n al
accessories) allow easier cuts of crow n m olding
w ithout tilting the saw blade. lnstall them in the base
both-sides side to be show n in Fig. 19. After inserting
tighten the 6 m m knob bolts to secure the Crow n
m olding Stoppers.

(2) The crow n m olding vise (B) (Optional accessory) can
be m ounted on either the left fence (Fence (B)) or the
right fence (Fence (A)). lt can unite w ith the slope of
the crow n m olding and vice can be pressed dow n.
Then turn the upper knob, as necessary, to securely
attach the crow n m olding in position. To raise or low er
the vise assem bly, first loosen the 6 m m w ing bolt.
After adjusting the height, firm ly tighten the 6 m m
w ing bolt; then turn the upper knob, as necessary, to
securely attach the crow n m olding in position (See
Fig 20).
