Video shooting screen
1 Settings on shooting mode/camera to shoot with
Set the shooting mode or camera to shoot with
(nP. 55 "Shooting mode/Camera to shoot with").
2 Mobile light
Turn on/off the mobile light.
3 Switching in/out-camera
Switch to the in-camera/out-camera.
4 Various settings
Make various settings for shooting (nP. 55 "Settings on
shooting with camera").
5 Switching displays
6 Album/Thumbnail
Activate Album.
・ Touch [6] in the image displaying screen of Album to
display all data.
7 Shutter
8 Switching Camera/Video Camera
Switch the camera mode to Camera/Video Camera.
9 Adding location information
Set whether to add location information.
a Picture size
Set the picture size.
b NightCatch
Switch NightCatch settings. Set it to [AUTO] to make shady
areas appear vivid on shot images.
c HDR
Set whether to clear image of blocked up shadows and blown
out highlights which often appear such as when you shoot
against the light while a contrast between brightness and
darkness is high.
d Framing adviser
Set whether to use framing adviser.
e Frame setting
Set a frame of framing adviser (nP. 54 "Framing adviser").
f Remaining number/time for shooting
Displayed when the remaining number for shooting decreases
to 99 or less as for the still picture shooting mode.
As for the video shooting mode, remaining time for shooting
indicates the total recordable time. The recordable time per
shot may be shorter than the displayed remaining time.
Even after shooting a still picture/video, remaining number/
time for shooting may not be changed.

In the home screen, [R]/[SH Camera]
: To adjust the brightness: Slide your finger up/down
: To zoom: Slide your finger to the left/right or pinch out/in
・ Maximum magnification (zoom step) is approximately
16.0-fold (120 steps).
: To lock the focus: Touch the subject
・ Touch anywhere other than focus frame to cancel the
focus lock.

[!]/x/y
: The shutter sounds and the shot still picture is automatically
saved.
: Alternatively, you can shoot still pictures by touching the
focus frame while the focus is locked.
: Hold [!]/x/y down for at least 1 second to shoot multiple still
pictures in a row.
Framing adviser
Division lines for compositions and a guide can be displayed
according to the scene for shooting. Using division lines and a
guide allows you to shoot still pictures with compositions different
from those for usual shooting applied on them.
Set framing adviser to ON in advance.
If the frame is set to [AUTO], people and foods are automatically
recognized and landscapes are framed in a recommended
composition according to the touched section.
Basic operations for shooting are the same as those for the
camera.

Adjust the subject along the division lines and a
guide/[!]/x/y
While the frame is set to [AUTO], you may be able to make the
subject easier to be recognized by changing the directions of
the tablet.
While the frame is set to [AUTO], division lines and a guide may
not be displayed depending on under which scene the subject
is detected with [Easy auto] set or depending on the shooting
mode.
Shooting videos

In the home screen, [R]/[SH Camera]/drag
[2] to [3]
: To zoom: Slide your finger to the left/right or pinch out/in
・ Maximum magnification (zoom step) is approximately
16.0-fold (120 steps).

: Shooting starts after the shooting start sound is heard.
: To shoot still pictures: [!]

[)]/x/y
: The shot video is automatically saved after the shooting end
sound is heard.
The remaining time indicator is an approximation. Shooting may
continue longer than the remaining time indicated before the
start of shooting or may automatically stop even when there is
remaining time depending on the subject.
