Symptom
Display is too faint.
Resolution cannot be adjusted
to desired setting.
Problem
Brightness and
contrast controls are
not set properly.
Windows does not
detect display driver.
Solution
Adjust the brightness and contrast controls on
your monitor.
1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start, point to
Settings, and then click Control Panel. The
Control Panel window is displayed.
2. Double-click the System icon. The System
Properties dialog box is displayed.
3. Click the Device Manager tab.
4. Click the plus sign next to Display Adapters
and select the installed display adapter.
5. Click the Remove button, and click OK.
6. Restart your computer, and let Windows
detect the display driver.
