When you instruct DirectCD
to eject a CD from your
CD-RW drive, DirectCD
gives you various formatting
options, depending on the
type of disc in the drive and
how you want to use the disc.
You must close or finalize the
CD-R disc before ejecting it if
you want to read the disc on
another computer that has a
standard CD-ROM or DVD-
ROM drive.
There are multiple ways to add data to a CD-R or CD-RW disc
that was formatted for DirectCD use and is not yet full:
In Windows Explorer, drag and drop files or folders onto the
drive letter that is the CD-RW drive.
Select Save As from the Windows application's File menu
and then select the drive letter of your CD-RW drive.
1. Insert the DirectCD CD into your CD-RW drive.
2. Wait for the DirectCD CD Ready window to be displayed.
3. Click OK and continue writing more data to your CD.
1. Press the Eject button on the CD-RW drive, or right-click on
the CD-RW drive in the Windows taskbar and select Eject.
The Eject window is displayed. (The Window varies based
on media type.)
2. Read the text that is displayed in the window and select the
option you want.
3. Click Finish or OK to eject the CD from the drive, and
DirectCD ejects your CD from the drive.
