Splicing and Terminating Optical Fibers

6.1 Splicing Optical Fibers in the Integrated Splicing and
Termination Tray
Step 1 Take out the integrated splicing and termination tray from the subrack.
Step 2 Open the cover of the of the integrated splicing and termination tray, lead in the optical fibers
covered with fiber protection tubes from the right of the integrated splicing and termination
tray, and reserve optical fibers of a certain length by coiling them in the coiling area.
Issue 02 (2021-06-15)
To facilitate optical fiber arrangement, carry out splicing operations by starting from the tray at the top
to the tray at the bottom.
