Installation, connection and commissioning by Siemens Service
Installation, connection and commissioning of the SIMATIC Ident CB Gate can be performed
by the Siemens Service team.
Note that the CB Gate has two or four antennas depending on the system variant.
Required tools and accessories
The following tools and accessories are required:
• Allen key (6, 5, 2)
• Open-ended wrench (19)
• Mounting kit
Requirements
Width setting of the horizontal cross brace
The width of the CB Gate can be adjusted. The width of the horizontal cross braces (③ & ④)
can be adjusted from 1 m to up to 1.4 m.
In the delivery state, the horizontal cross braces are set to a width of 1 m. Loosen the width
adjustment screws and widen both horizontal cross braces to the maximum width. To be able
to install the CB Gate, these screws must be loosened and the width adjustment must be
pulled out.
