Appendix 7
This section shows the procedure for initializing the product.
Initialize this product in the following situations.
• This product does not start through execution of the script file registered to the VxWorks part of this product
• The username/password configured to the VxWorks part of this product has been forgotten
• It is not possible to connect to this product (incorrect settings were written to the service settings, etc.)
• The VxWorks part of this product is returned to factory setting. Backup necessary data in advance because
the data of the user drive of the VxWorks part is initialized.
• To initialize the Windows part of this product to factory setting, recover Windows. ( Page 149 Recovery
of Windows)
• Initialization (clearing) is not performed when the fan module is operating.
A part of the VxWorks part does not return to factory setting even when this product has been initialized.
Precautions
Do not turn OFF or reset this product when it is being initialized. If the product is turned OFF or reset, initialize it again.
