Maintenance
Regular maintenance, irrespective of usage, is essential to ensure that the equipment
is always functional when required. This chapter addresses maintenance procedures
and recommendations.
Recommended Maintenance
Refer to the operator's manual for your system for cleaning procedures. The system
does not require any calibration procedures. GE Healthcare recommends that you
perform electrical safety checks annually.

EQUIPMENT FAILURE AND HEALTH HAZARDS Failure on the part of all responsible
individuals, hospitals or institutions, employing the use of this system, to
implement the recommended maintenance schedule, may cause equipment
failure and possible health hazards.
The sole responsibility rests with the individuals, hospitals, or institutions utilizing
the system.
The manufacturer does not in any manner, assume the responsibility for
performing the recommended maintenance schedule, unless an Equipment
Maintenance Agreement exists.
Required Tools and Supplies
The following tools are required to perform the procedures described in this chapter:
• ECG simulator
• Small flat blade screw driver
• Posidriver PZ1 x 80
• Posidriver PZ2 x 100
• Current leakage tester
• Anti-static wrist strap
• Small side cutter pliers
• Small needle-nose pliers
• Large paper clip or small diameter Allen wrench
• Small adjustable wrench
