Cleaning
Only clean the devices when they are switched off.
Clean the front of the device with a damp cloth. Use dishwashing liquid or foaming screen cleaning agent.

supplementary information in the operating instructions.
Maintenance and repair
The product is maintenance-free. Repairs to the product may only be carried out by the manufacturer. Observe the
information in the operating instructions.
Recycling and disposal
Contact a certified disposal service company for electronic scrap for environmentally sustainable recycling and disposal of
your old device. Dispose of the product according to the respective regulations in your country.

For information on approved accessories, refer to the operating instructions.

This section applies to the fail-safe Key Panels KP8F and KP32F.

• Parameter assignment
• Fail-safe operation
• Status, error messages and alarms (visualization via module diagnostics)
• Maintenance (recurring tests, software/firmware updates)
• Checking for proper function
• Technical specifications

Make sure that the HMI device is configured and parameterized for fail-safe operation according to the operating instructions.
Perform function tests for safety functions according to your automation task. They may only be used in production when the
correct operation of the safety-related functions is ensured.
