Issue 04 (2023-02-17)
NO TE
A salt area refers to the region within 500 meters from the coast or prone to sea breeze.
The regions prone to sea breeze vary with weather conditions (such as typhoons and
monsoons) or terrains (such as dams and hills). The areas that are more than 500 meters
away from the coast are also likely to be salt areas. For example, the area in northern Fukui
ken within 10 km from the coast of the Japan Sea is a salt-affected area. The whole
Okinawa ken and other areas affected by sea breeze are also salt-affected areas.
Install the solar inverter in a well-ventilated environment for heat dissipation
When installed under direct sunlight, performance de-rate may be initiated
due to additional temperature rise.
To extend the service life of the solar inverter, install the solar inverter in a
sheltered place or install an awning over the solar inverter.
The mounting structure where the solar inverter is installed must be fire
resistant.
Do not install the solar inverter on flammable building materials.
Ensure that the installation surface is solid enough to bear the weight load.
In residential areas, do not install the solar inverter on drywalls or walls made
of similar materials with a weak sound insulation performance because the
noise generated by the solar inverter may interfere with residents in the living
area.
Install the solar inverter vertically or at a maximum back tilt of 15 degrees to
facilitate heat dissipation.
Do not install the solar inverter at forward tilted, excessive back tilted, side
tilted, horizontal, or upside down positions.
