8. Automatic distance measurement
The new intelligent horn features an integrated distance measuring module.
Prerequisites for firmware and hardware:
In order to be able to use this functionality, the following prerequisites must first be met:
• The main board must be "intelligent" so that the main body of the METPOINT
will be able to communicate with each other.
• The firmware version on the METPOINT
be downloaded from the "Downloads" section of the corresponding homepage.
If these prerequisites are met, the METPOINT
with automatic distance measuring is connected.

measurement, just like with all other tools.

depending on the selected unit system.
