Probable Causes
Corrective Action
Tap screen to turn on.
Check power supply and troubleshoot power supply as needed.
Ensure power wires are intact and not damaged.
Ensure main circuit breaker on the panel door is in the "ON" posi-
tion.
Check circuit breaker and ensure it has not tripped.
Verify all fuses are intact and receiving power.
Turn HOA switch to SmartPrime setting.
Close the transformer fuse.
Ensure the motor settings match the nameplate rating of the motor.
Check the Alarms page and ensure that all alarms have been acknowl-
edged and cleared. Refer to
"Alarms Screen" on page
Check the power output and motor input connections.
Check that the ElectricPAK™ VFD is receiving adequate power.
Ensure that overload and/or thermal protection has not tripped.
Clean the impeller and sump of debris and grit.
Ensure the motor settings match the nameplate rating of the motor.
Check transducer scaling and units are correct on the Sensors screen.
Check that connections are tight.
Ensure connector wiring is correct.
Ensure that backup floats have been reset to normal condition: Turn
power off, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn power back on.
Turn power off, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn power back on.
Ensure sensors are set to the correct units.
Ensure scaling is correct on sensor setting page.
Keep sensor lines apart from power lines to prevent interference.
Ensure cables are not damaged.
Ensure connections to gland panel are tight.
Ensure connectors are connecting to the right location.
Ensure that the control transducer is connected to the analog-1 port.
Reduce the motor load.
Make sure pump/motor is aligned correctly.
Make sure the impeller is not dragging.
Make sure voltage at the motor is correct.
Change value of sleep mode.
Enable sleep mode on application settings.
Ensure that sleep-wake level is set correctly.
If not sleeping, increase PID Low Hz Limit (SET-22).
If cycling in and out of sleep, lower PID Low Hz Limit (SET-22).
Ensure the correct switch is selected.
Ensure the float is not caught on anything.
Use the correct float type based for the application (Normally Open for
empty and Normally Closed for fill).
