DUBBING
TAPE
DUBBING
Tape dubbing means copying the contents of one tape onto
another tape. To perform tape dubbing, two tape decks should
be connected,
one for playback and the other for recording.
With this set you can dub from the tape deck connected to
TAPE-1
terminals onto the tape deck connected
to TAPE-2
terminals.
1. Press the tape dubbing switch to DUBBING
(-=).
2. Operate the TAPE-1 tape deck for playback.
3. Operate the TAPE-2 tape deck for recording.
4. To
monitor
the
sound
being
recorded,
press the TAPE
MONITOR
switch in (-— ) and leave the TAPE switch in its
"out" position ( m).
Notes:

Deck-to-deck
dubbing
is possible while
listening to any
other
source.
To
do this, release the TAPE
MONITOR
switch
to the "out"
position
by re-depressing
it (),
operate the two
tape decks for dubbing
and select any
other
source
you
want
to hear with the corresponding
source select switch.

Ifa three-head tape deck is used for recording during tape
dubbing, you can monitor the recorded sound while record-
ing by pressing the TAPE
MONITOR
switch ( —= ) and set-
ting the TAPE switch to "2" (= ).

Dubbing from TAPE-2 to TAPE-1 is not possible.
