Removing and Replacing the Display Assembly

To remove the Display Assembly
1. Follow the procedures to remove the:
• Battery Door (page 16)
• Battery (page 17)
• USIM Card (page 19)
• Front Housing (page 20)
• PCH (page 23)
2. Release the display assembly clips from the PCH on each side of the display
assembly as shown in Figure 14.
The flexible printed cable connecting the display module to the display board is
fragile. Use extreme care when handling.
3. Carefully lift the left side of the display assembly away from the PCH.
4. Carefully lift the right side of the display assembly away from the PCH.
