The performance
check
verifies
whether
or not
the
Model 1821A
is
operating within
the specifications
as stated
in
Table
1-1.
This check
may
be used
as
part
of
an
incoming
quality control
inspection,
as a
periodic operational check, or
after
repairs
and/or
adjustments have
been made.
Recently
calibrated
test
equipment should be used
when
performing
this
check.

As
the
initial
perform-
ance check
is
accomplished,
the actual
reading should
be entered on
the
form.
The form
should then be re-
moved from
the
manual and
filed in
a safe
place so
that
readings taken
at
a later
date
can
be
compared
with the original readings.

sequence

Do
not
attempt
to
start
the
pro-
cedure
in
mid-sequence
as
succeeding
steps
