If thermostat screen appears blank after initial installation, then check
whether the protective film has been removed from the batteries. Otherwise,
try replacing the batteries.
2.2.2 Setting of room temperature
The current room temperature is shown in the display. The
setting temperature can be changed by pressing the buttons
▲/▼. When one of the buttons is first pressed, the setpoint
temperature is shown flashing, accompanied by the setpoint
indicator. Further buttons presses will increase or decrease the
setpoint in increments of 0.5ºC. The maximum temperature
that can be set on the thermostat is 35ºC and the minimum
temperature is 5ºC.
The display changes to current room temperature again after
five seconds have passed. Then the thermostat tries to maintain
the set temperature as accurately as possible. The setting
temperature can be checked pressing the buttons ▲/▼. It will
flash up for a few seconds, before returning to the display of
room temperature again.
2.2.3 Night temperature reduction
It is recommended to set the thermostat to a lower temperature
at night and during absence periods, as it helps to save energy.
In general a reduction of 3°C is suggested, but this depends on
the heating system and the amount of insulation of the building.
2.2.4 ON/OFF Switch
The off/standby button allows to switch off the heating (or
cooling) system. To prevent accidental switch-off, the button
must be held for 2 seconds to activate the change. When off,
thermostat will maintain control at a frost protection setpoint,
factory set to 5°C but adjustable between 5 and 16°C.
2.2.5 Temperature measurement offset
If the thermostat is located in a particularly hot/cold location and
cannot be moved, then the measured/displayed temperature
can be adjusted by +/- 3°C.
