Picture Settings

To get the best picture under different viewing con-
ditions, set the Picture Mode first before changing
other video settings. See page 24 for a description
of the options.
a. Press VIDEO.
b. Press Y until the Picture Mode
option displays.
Audio Controls
Changing the Audio Outpu t
To switch from the internal TV speakers to an external
sound system:
1, Press AUDIO.
Press Y to display the Sound
option.
3, Press _ to change.
c. Press I_ to make one of these selections:
Brilliant Under bright light
Game With gaming consoles (inputs
named Game or PC only)
Bright For most daytime viewing
Natural For most nighttime viewing
Press Y to display the name of another adjustment.
3, Press _ to make the adjustment.
4, Wait a few seconds and the display will clear.
Additional picture options are available through the fol-
lowing menus:
Changing Audio Settings (TV Speakers Only)
1, Press AUDIO.
Press V to display the name of the adjustment you
want. See page 25 for options.
3, Press _ to change.
Controlling Sound Volume
Press V0L A/V to adjust the
sound level of the TV speakers.

None O TVis powered off. Normal operation.
Green O TVis powered on. Normal operation.

TV powered off, auto-on TV Timer is set.
Normal operation. TV can be turned on at any time.
TV may require service.
• Hold power button on front panel for 10 seconds to
reset TV.
• If LED continues to flash red and yellow after reset, turn
off the TV and unplug it from the AC power source. Wait
one minute and then plug the set back in.
If LED continues to flash red and yellow, go to
www.mitsubishi-tv.com or call 1-800-332-2119 to receive
Authorized Service Center information.
You may be asked to count how many times the LED
flashes each color to assist in troubleshooting.
