NOTICE
1. Before manual operations, set the motor/manual selection lever to the manual mode and
install the ATS handle.
2. If the motor mode is to be used, set the motor/manual selection lever to the motor mode and
remove the ATS handle.
2. Check the insulation.
•
Switch off the upstream circuit breaker QFS for the SPD
in the input module of the PDC, and switch on other circuit
breakers, as shown in the figure.
•
(Optional) Flip the ATS to I or II.
•
Check that the insulation resistances of the power
distribution devices and feed circuit are no less than 0.5
megohm.
•
After checking, turn off all the circuit breakers.
3. Turn on the upstream circuit breaker of the PDC. If all the input indicators light up at the same
time, the PDC input power is normal.
4. Verify that the phase sequence of the input power is correct using a phase sequence meter. In
the ATS input scenario, check the phase sequences of both power inputs.
5. Turn on the upstream switch of the SPD. If the SPD module indicators are green, the SPD is
running properly. If an SPD module indicator is red, the SPD module is faulty and must be
replaced immediately.
6. Switch on the input circuit breaker of the PDC.
•
(Optional) If the input switch is a circuit breaker, switch it on.
•
(Optional) If the input switch is an ATS, set the ATS to auto mode as instructed by
documents delivered with the ATS.
NOTICE
If the handle of the ATS controlling the power input to the PDC is not removed, the auto mode
does not take effect.
7. Check whether the electricity meter displays information properly.
8. (Optional) Switch on all power distribution circuit breakers for the air conditioners one by one.
9. Check the UPS maintenance bypass. Verify that all maintenance bypass circuit breaker is
switched off and that the padlock is normal. Then close the UPS input switch.
10.Check whether the voltage at the back-end of the UPS input switch is normal. If yes, start the
UPS according to the UPS operation specifications.
11.Use a multimeter to check whether the output voltage and the output voltage set for the UPS
are consistent. If yes, switch on the UPS output circuit breaker.
12.Then switch on all IT device power distribution circuit breakers one by one, and use a
multimeter to check whether the voltages at the output terminals are normal.
13.The PDC power-on is completed.
14.(Optional) Power off the PDC.
a. Shut down IT devices, air conditioners, and other back-end loads.
b. Switch off the UPS output circuit breakers and shut down the UPS.
c. Switch off other circuit breakers in the PDC level by level.
d. Switch off the external power input circuit breaker.
NOTICE
The power-off operation may interrupt all services. Before the power-off operation, ensure that
emergency plans have been worked out and approved by parties involved. Huawei bears no
responsibility for any accidents or loss.
