7.1 Starting the cooking process

1) Set the timer 4 to the desired cooking time. You can set a cooking
time of up to 30 minutes.
The appliance switches on, the operating light 1 lights up.
2) Turn the temperature control 3 to the desired temperature.
You can set a temperature between 80°C and 200°C.
The appliance starts to heat up.
Note: The operating light 1 goes out occasionally and lights up
again to indicate that the heating element is maintaining the
temperature. When the heating element switches off because the
temperature has been reached, the operating light 1 goes out. As
soon as the heating element starts working, the operating light 1
lights back up.

7.2 Pausing/stopping the cooking process

You can pause the frying process at any time, e.g. to check the degree of
browning or to shake or turn the food.
1) Pull the frying pot 7 out of the housing q by the handle 8.
Note: When you remove the frying pot 7, the cooking programme
is paused automatically. It restarts automatically as soon as the frying
pot 7 is replaced. The time 4 continues running.
2) Turn or shake the food in the frying pot 7 if necessary.
CAUTION!
The frying pot 7 and the frying insert 5 are provided with a non-

stick coating. To protect the non-stick coating, do not use metallic
tools such as knives, forks, etc. to turn the food or take it out.
3) Then replace the frying pot 7 in the appliance.
The cooking process continues automatically until the end of the
cooking time.
The appliance switches itself off automatically at the end of the set
cooking time.
4) The end the cooking process early, turn the timer 4 to 0 minutes.
5) Switch off the appliance by pulling out the mains plug.
6) Have a heat-resistant base ready to put the frying pot 7 on and a
container, e.g. plate or bowl, for the fried food.
