PROGRAMMED EDITING USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

Press the RUN button on the remote control. The
editing will start automatically.
The tape in the camcorder is rewound, and
segments A, C and B will be searched then played
back in the selected order.
@ The VCR will switch between recording and
recording pause mode to match playback on the
camcorder.
@ if the DATA ON SCREEN button has been
pressed, the on-screen display will appear while a
segment is searched, however it will disappear
while the segment is being copied. __

When programmed editing is finished, the
i
camcorder is switched to stop mode, and the VCR to
recording pause mode.
You can then, erase the programmed editing
settings and programme another 8 segments to be
edited to the same tape in the VCR, or load another
blank tape in the VCR and simply press the RUN
button to copy the same 8 segments.

@ After editing, the settings are not erased until the
cassette tape is unloaded, or the POWER switch on
the camcorder set to "OFF".
@ For more details on how to operate the VCR, please
refer to its instruction manual.
@ To stop programmed editing, press the STOP
button, then stop the VCR.

Erasing, changing programmed editing settings
To change a segment setting, first erase it, then
programme the new setting.

Rewind (or advance) the tape to the segment to
cancel, then start playback.
_ he programme number will start flashing.

Press the CANCEL button while the programme
number is flashing.
The programme number will flash rapidly for a few
seconds then disappear.
The settings corresponding to that programme
number are now erased.

@ When one segment setting is erased, its number will
stay available, if another segment is programmed, it
will be assigned the lowest available number.
@ To erase all the settings, unload the cassette tape or
set the POWER switch to "OFF".

Once the programmed editing is completed, set the
POWER switch on the camcorder to "OFF", then
disconnect the LANC cable.
