Connections to a TV or VCR equipped with a
SCART terminal or AUDIO/VIDEO terminals
Connect the cable yellow connector to the VIDEO output
terminal (yellow) and the white connector to the AUDIO
output terminal (white) on the camcorder. Then,
A: Connect the SCART connector to the SCART terminal
on the TV or VCR.
B: Connect the cable yellow connector to the VIDEO
input terminal (yellow) and the white connector to the
AUDIO input terminal (white) on the TV or VCR.
E Connection for playback on a TV
When connected, make sure to set the TV/VCR switch on
the TV to "VCR".

When connected, make sure to set the TV/VCR switch on
the TV to "VCR", and set the input on the VCR to external
input mode. l

Connections to a TV not equip ed with a
SCART terminal or AUDIO/VIDEO terminals
You will need an RF converter and RF cable.

1 Unplug the aerial cable from your TV and reconnect
it to the ANT IN terminal on the RF converter.

Connect the RF cable to the ANT OUT terminal on
the RF converter and to the ANT IN terminal on your
TV.

3 Connect the RF converter to your camcorder.

(5) Select an available channel on the TV, e.g. notused i ;

With a small screwdriver turn the RF channel screw
on the RF converter until the picture and sound from
the camcorder are played back clearly on the TV.

Set the channel on the RF converter to the position
corresponding to your TV setting. The picture and
sound from the camcorder should be played back on |
the TV. i
If no picture is visible, tune in your TV until the best
picture and sound is obtained.
