1. Getting Started
Read the safety instructions in the «Precautions» section
before use.
To use your phone, you must insert a valid SIM card
supplied by your GSM operator or retailer. The SIM card
contains your subscription information, your mobile
number, and a memory in which you can store phone
numbers and messages (see "Phonebook" page 63).
Insert SIM card
Remove back cover
1. Make sure that the phone
is switched off. You need
to remove the back cover
of your phone before you
can insert the SIM card.
Hold the phone with the
front facing downwards
as shown in the diagram
and push the release
catch located on the left
side of the phone. The
back
cover
will
detached
from
phone. Remove the back
cover from its slot.

2. Lift up the battery from
the bottom using your
finger and remove it
from its slot.
Install SIM card
3. Make sure the clipped
corner of the SIM card
is facing the correct
direction
and
metallic contacts facing
downwards. Slide the
SIM card into the card
slot until it stops.
