PRISMAsync Print Server

Note: Refer to the Appendix to see the specifications for the hardware
accessory options.
The PRISMAsync Print Server is a high-performance integrated print controller
that enables the end-user to define all media settings once and use them
throughout the prepress and printing process.
Fully integrated digital front-end provides intuitive production management.
Operates in both Windows and Macintosh environments.
Supports APPE (Adobe PDF Print Engine), PDF Version 1.7, PCL 6, XPS,
IPDS, SRA PCL6.
Supports IPv6 and IPv4 network topologies.
Supports print from USB

PRISMAsync Print Server Standard Features

Standard features available for the PRISMAsync Print Server.

1. Remote Manager

Enables the end-user the ability to remotely manage and reassign jobs of
multiple supported PRISMAsync driven engines
With the Remote Manager it is possible to manage the engine (multiple
engines if applicable) remote: monitor, operate and upload jobs from any
place anywhere.
Note: To use Remote Manager with multiple PRISMAsync driven print
devices, each printer must have Remote Manger installed and enabled.

2. Restrict Installation of System Software

The PRISMAsync Print Server can be configured to enable or disable the
ability to boot via USB.
Disabling the boot via USB prevents unauthorized system software
updates on PRISMAsync Print Server.

3. Job Forwarding ("Copy to...").

Ability to copy jobs from one PRISMAsync driven engine to another
PRISMAsync driven engine with the original job settings
