Overview

D-Link firewalls offer supports to miscellaneous network clients for
Dynamic DNS and similar services. Currently, the services providers that
are supported by the firewall include:
Dyndns.org
Dyns.cx
Cjb.net
Oray.net – Peanut Hull DynDNS

Dynamic DNS

Dynamic Domain Name System (DynDNS), is a method of keeping a
domain name linked to a changing IP address. When a user connects to the
Internet through a means provided by the ISP, an unused IP address from a
pool of IP addresses is assigned to the user's machine, and this address is
used only for the duration of that specific connection. A dynamic DNS
service provider uses a special program that runs on the user's machine,
