A screen saver is a moving
picture or pattern that
appears on the screen when
you stop using your
computer for a specified
period of time.
Tip
You can protect the screen
saver with a password by
selecting the Password
protected check box, clicking
the Change button, and typing
a password in the Change
Password dialog box.
Afterwards, the correct
password must be entered
before the screen saver will
close.

Changing the Screen Saver
1. From the Windows taskbar, click the Start button. The Start
menu is displayed.
2. Point to Settings and then click Control Panel. The Control
Panel window displays system setup icons.
3. Double-click the Display
window opens with the Background tab selected by default.
4. Click the Screen Saver tab.
5. Click the down arrow next to the Screen Saver box, and
select a screen saver from the list. The image of the monitor
allows you to preview the selected screen saver.
6. After making your selection, click the OK button.
