and letters of the alphabet.
Did you know ...
An external drive is in a
separate case and plugs into
the outside of your computer.
CD-ROM, CD-RW, and
DVD-ROM drives are optical
drives. If you have two optical
drives, one of them is the
primary optical drive while
the other is a secondary
optical drive.
Tip
You can also access the drives
by going into Windows
Explorer.

1. From the Windows desktop, double-click the

displayed in the My Computer window. The drive letters are
found beneath the corresponding icons.
