need to restore your system
to its last User Backup

Increasing the Size of the User Backup
Partition

Caution: Increasing the size of your SystemSave partition
may take several minutes to complete. Do not press any keys
to turn off your computer while increasing the size of the
partition. Failure to observe this caution can result in damage
or permanent loss of important files.
A message is displayed asking you if you want to resize your
SystemSave partition. The Resize SystemSave option is the
default option. To increase the size of the partition, click the
OK button. Be aware that the size of the C: drive will decrease
as the size of the SystemSave partition increases.
The computer automatically begins resizing the partition and
then completes User Backup.

User Restore

IMPORTANT: You must have performed User Backup at least once to use this option.
1. From the Windows desktop, double-click the Compaq
Support icon.
2. Click the QuickRestore icon.
3. Place your cursor over the User Restore icon.
Note: If no backup files are found, this means that you have not performed
User Backup. You cannot perform User Restore unless you have performed
User Backup at least once.
4. Click the Continue button.
5. The computer asks you if you want to continue with the
restore. Click Yes to continue.

Caution: In the next step, any files, programs, and data
installed or created after your last User Backup will be deleted
after you press Enter.
