Using the CD-ROM Drive with your NEC Versa

Follow these steps to connect to and use the external 24X CD-ROM drive with your
NEC Versa FX notebook computer.
Note
system, the system must be powered off. Once you install the External Drive Connect
Utility, use the utility to connect the CD-ROM drive to your system while the system is
powered on. For details, see the section, "External Drive Connect Utility," later in this
chapter.
