Menu OPERATION
In the United States and Canada, the V-CHIP consists of two rating systems, which are MPAA (MOTION PICTURE) and
TV PARENTAL GUIDELINES. Its function is to block programs by following the rating data in the XDS data packets sent
from broadcasting
stations. The user can select which rating programs should be blocked by using the LOCK MENU
options.

Press to display the roller guide menu.
Press to rotate to LOCK.
Press to display LOCK menu.

Use the numeric keypad to enter your number digit
code.
(Use a code that is easy to remember and record it
in a safe place.)
Press to enter the BLOCK PROGRAM field.
Press to select the desired menu.
The menu will change as follows:

Proceed to the selected menu.
After finished with adjustments
in the selected
