Install Replica
1. Prepare to install Replica.
2. Install the Replica software.
Configure Replica for automatic backups
1. From the desktop icon or Start menu,
open the Configuration Wizard
shortcut.
The Wizard walks you through the
configuration procedure, prompting
you to select a tape drive, choose
drive volumes for backup, and
schedule a time for the backup.
Perform an "off-schedule," immediate backup
1. Insert a blank tape cartridge in the
HP NetServer tape drive.
2. From the desktop icon or Start menu,
open the immediate backup
shortcut.
Replica immediately begins backing
up the volumes designated in the
configuration.
