Various broadcast stations now transmit movies and programmes in true wide screen
format. Your TV detects these signals and automatically switches your TV to the correct
viewing format. However, some broadcasters do not transmit this automatic sensing signal,
and so your TV will not recognize which format is being transmitted. Your viewing format
can be selected manually by simply pressing the
