You may be able to select 720 dpi if your DOS program
7
supports 720-dpi printing. You can select from Bi-d, Uni-d,
or Auto print directions using the default-setting mode.
The Uni-d setting is recommended when printing at 720
dpi. See Chapter 8 for details.
Do not load index cards that are curled or bent.
Return unused cards to their original package as soon
as possible after you finish printing. Unfavorable storage
conditions, such as high temperature, humidity, or direct
sunlight, can damage the paper.
If your index cards don't feed properly or jam, see Chapter
10, "Troubleshooting."

Envelopes

When printing on envelopes, note the following:
Make sure that the adjust lever is set to the + position. The
adjust lever is located inside the printer. See "Setting the
adjust lever" on page 7-20.
Before printing on envelopes from a DOS program using
the sheet feeder, the printer must be in the envelope
printing mode. To enter this mode, load a single envelope
in the sheet feeder and then eject it by pressing the
Load/Eject button. The printer will now feed envelopes
correctly.
