Important: Because this universal remote
can control several different components
(TV,VCR, etc.), it uses operational modes
triggered by the component buttons and
multi-page select switch on the side of the
remote. For example, if you want the
remote to control a cable box, you would
slide the multi-page select switch to TV/
CABLE/SAT mode and press the CABLE
button to put the remote into cable mode
so you could control the cable box.
