To view the interfaces in Layer 2 mode, use the show interfaces switchport
command in the EXEC mode.

Configure a Host Name

The host name appears in the prompt. The default host name is force10.
Host names must start with a letter and end with a letter or digit.
Characters within the string can be letters, digits, and hyphens.
Task
Create a new host name.

Access the System Remotely

You can configure the system to be accessed remotely by Telnet. The S4810 has
a dedicated management port and a management routing table that is separate
from the IP routing table.
