Scan Using the Control Panel

Scan Plastic Cards

Close the Top Cover if it is open.

Load a plastic card (see Plastic Cards on page 40).

Do one of the following:
 Press for Scan to PC (USB Connect).
 Press or
NOTE
• You need to assign the Scan to PC (Network Connect) feature to
to PC (Network Connect). See Scan to PC (Network Connect) on page 132.
• You need to assign the Scan to FTP feature to
Documents to an FTP Server on page 116.

Press . The machine starts scanning.

Register a shortcut (see Card Scan on page 163).

Close the Top Cover if it is open.

Load a plastic card (see Plastic Cards on page 40).

Press your configured shortcut.

Press Start. The machine starts scanning.
